Mat + Springboard Classes: $50 or a 10-pack for $450
Small classes allow 5 movers to experience the Classical Pilates Mat Work with support from the Springboard.

Mixed Apparatus Classes: $65 or 10-pack for $600
Up to 4 people practice the Pilates Method using the full range of equipment, rotating week by week through the Reformer, Tower, and Chair.

Reformer Classes: $65 or a 10-pack for $600
Clients progress from beginner to advanced to find flow and connection using the Universal Reformer.

Duet Lessons: $80 each or 10-pack $750 for 10
Bring a friend and stay accountable! Two clients in a semi-private session hone in on individual movement and strength goals.

Private Lessons: $135 each or $1250 for 10
Get personal! Private clients receive personalized instruction designed to address their overall strength and well being.

Workshops

Four Week Series:

Beginner Apparatus Workshop

Thursdays from 5-6pm
January 16 to February 6, 2025

This series is designed to introduce or refresh movers' knowledge of the classical Pilates exercises on the apparatus: Reformer, Chair, Tower, and Mat. Participants will be ready to join group classes after completing this workshop. Limited to 4 movers.

Workshop Series

Prenatal Pilates: For expecting mothers at any stage of pregnancy. This series will encourage health and strength to support the amazing changes in a woman’s body as she prepares for the journey of a lifetime.

Postnatal Pilates: Enjoy yourself with your powerfully accomplished body! This series supports pelvic floor health, can address diastisis recti, and empowers women to build strength and stamina as they tend to themselves as much as they tend to others.

Brand New Beginner Series: Welcome to Pilates! We support humans of all ages, shapes, and abilities to explore Classical Pilates through a specially designed small group series that can support the launch of a lifetime practice. Whether you’re a seasoned exerciser or gym-phobic, this is the series for you!

Frequently Asked Questions

Please come to your session wearing comfortable clothes without zippers or snaps. At West Portal Pilates, we encourage bare feet, but you may bring sticky Pilates socks if you prefer. Please let us know about any current injuries or issues that may affect how we plan your session.

At West Portal Pilates, we will plan your private session based on your current movement and fitness goals, and will make adjustments to support what your body needs at each session. We will encourage you to be empowered to relate to your breath, body, and movement with self-compassion and curiosity, and to collaborate with us as you “Return to Life” with Pilates.

Yes. With a well trained instructor, people with disc degeneration, spondylolisthesis, osteoarthritis, osteopenia and other issues can effectively use movement and breath to alleviate pain and maintain mobility.

Classical Pilates, or traditional pilates, uses an entire system of equipment including reformers, low chair, baby arm chair, ped-o-pull, trapeze table/cadillac, tower units, mats, and more.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please let us know if you will miss your scheduled session or class. We do not charge for lessons canceled outside the 24 hour window.
